Danse Bohémienne by Claude Debussy, arranged for saxophone quartet. This work is an early piano piece by Claude Debussy. It was written in the summer of 1880 but not published until 1932. Since this is a very early work, it is not in the distinctive “Impressionistic” style we generally associate with Debussy but it is still an engaging little piece.
This arrangement of Danse Bohémienne is for SATB saxophone quartet. It includes an optional alto sax 2 part that is a substitute for the tenor sax so you may play this as a SAAB saxophone quartet. Although it is a short work (2 minutes), each part, including the bari sax gets a solo turn at one time or another.
